"One and one and one is three..."

Day 3 of my journey back.  Alas, I didn't get up early, but I've hit some of the harder songs, and my arms, wrists, fingers are sore.  Not the same as doing Tae Bo, maybe, but at least it's keeping me in practice.

I still can't beat "Cowboys from Hell" on Guitar Hero (Expert) - but I made some significant accomplishments.  I made it thorugh 97% of "Cowboys" (don't you hate that!) and I did beat "Bark at the Moon".  So one more song to go.

Plus, I finished Level 7 of Guitar Hero III on Hard.  That "Cult of Personality" was a blast to play.  I was able to beat "Cliffs of Dover" on Level 8, but the others threw me for a loop.  Man, Metallica's "One" is pretty easy until you get to that solo at about 75%.  I tanked fast.

The Other Side

Tell me Guitar Hero isn't affecting what's on the radio - "The Other Side" just started playing. Unless WVNA has some Aerosmith fixation. They're the same ones who played "Back in the Saddle" yesterday - at almost the same time.

You Really Got Me

Made it to day 2. I've been away for so long, doing this for a couple days in a row seems like an accomplisment.

Loaded gun...

Hey - "Back in the Saddle" is on the radio right now! How crazy is that?

"I'm back!"

I just got Guitar Hero Aerosmith for my birthday (so the title of this post is also a reference to "Back in the Saddle", not just a declaration that I'm back - though it's that, too) and this morning was the first time I've gotten up early in quite awhile. I've decided to pick this up again, if only to trigger some endorphins to counteract life's recent stresses.
